INDUSTRIAL PORT ZONE
The Port of Saguenay is currently working on a project to build municipal-type service infrastructure required for the establishment of major industries within its industrial-port zone.
This project includes, among other things:
The construction of a 6 km industrial boulevard
The development of land for future industrial expansion
Service infrastructure such as:
- Potable water distribution system
- Sanitary sewer system
- Stormwater drainage network
- Process water supply system
- Wastewater treatment system
- Fire protection infrastructure

These images are taken from our Industrial-Port Zone Master Development Plan, which demonstrates the Port’s commitment and that of its team to supporting world-class development based on harmonious coexistence with the community and the principles of sustainable development.
The plan also envisions the development of a multifunctional shared-services hub, integrated within a network of walking trails and cycling paths, with the objective of creating a vibrant, attractive living environment that is well integrated into its host community.
